Baby and Me Yoga- The Arc
When: Wednesdays 10.30am-11.45am
Where: The Arc Community Centre, 98b St Paul St, London N1 7DF
How to book: Class pass or directly on the site
Price: £14 (or 6/7 credits on classpass)
Age Range: Newborn to crawling! Most babies are between 8 weeks and 4 months
What the class entails: Class begins with a 15 minute sequence for parents and moves onto song and gentle movement for your baby. Finishes with a calming sequence and cup of tea for everyone.
Social aspect: Very open environment to meet people as people can chat over the tea provided at the end or meet up in Pophams.
Notes: The best class that I have done so far as it incorporates sensory development, rhymes, relaxation and movement. The instructor Sandi is an absolute delight and the babies love her. Great for building confidence for both babies and parents. A super class if you are nervous about bringing baby out as Sandi has built such a supportive environment. If your baby is upset you can relax on the bouncing ball, chill on the mat and step back in if you are ready.
Zen-a-Tots Baby Massage- Maggie and Rose Nursery (available in other North London locations)
When: Tuesday 10.15-11.00
Where: Maggie and Rose Nursery, 7-9 Esther Anne Pl, Islington N1 1UL
Price: 4 week course for £65.00
Age Range: 4 weeks to pre-crawling: Most babies are between 8 weeks and 4 months
What the class entails: Each week the class introduces new baby massage techniques on different parts of the babies body. It builds progressively (e.g 20/25 minutes the first week and the full 45 minutes by Week 3 to ensure that baby is comfortable. Course covers techniques to relax baby and stimulate digestive system.
Social aspect: Very open environment to meet people as typically the group will go to coffee in Megan's after the class.
Notes: Each participant receives a gift pack with oil and guidance. The babies are so calm and comfortable after the class.

Age Range: 7 weeks to pre-crawling: Most babies are between 8 weeks and 4 months
What the class entails: Stretching and movement with baby using rhymes/sensory toys. Relaxation section and use of parachutes/bubbles.
Social aspect: Very open environment to meet people as typically the group will go to coffee in Megan's after the class.
Notes: Advise to do massage first and progress to yoga as the same participants will typically move onto the next term.

When: Monday 11.00-11.30

Price: Term (8 weeks) for £84.00

What the class entails: Singing, movement and use of instruments (rattles/drums for baby)
Social aspect: Consistent attendees which makes it easy to meet peop.e.
